Due to political, economic, and mixer numbers, the Federalists and the representative republicans were government parties that formed in the United States. The Federalists were lead by Alexander Hamilton and back up a robust central government to lead the country, and The elected Republicans take by Thomas Jefferson supported State sovereignty. The United States National Bank, differences in wealth, and commerce verses land in the country led to the military issue of two political parties. Political billet in the new nation was a n issue that led to the formation of the Federalist and participatory Republican parties. The Federalist Witch break away was started by the outlander and insurrection acts that increased tensions between the two political groups. The Alien act targeted foreigners and immigrants that supported the Jeffersons Democratic Republicans.

The Sedition act as well took away license of words and crunch to those who spoke against the Federalist party. The Federalists employ these acts to maintain their power in government and to minimize their opposition, the Democratic Republicans. This also led Thomas Jefferson and the Democratic Republicans to nominate the Kentucky resolution to eradicate the Alien and sedition acts, challenging the Federalists.
